Ingredients:
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, soften at room temperature for about 30 minutes
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instruction:
- Preheat oven at 350 F.
- Measure the first five ingredients into a medium bowl, mix well in a mixer on "stir" mode (kitchen aid mixer) until all blended. Make sure you don't over mix; otherwise, the cookies will flatten out during baking and they tend to get harder and become crunchy
- Add the last four ingredients into the bowl, mix well
- Use ice cream scoop or spoon to shape the dough roughly into balls, place on top of parchment paper in a cookie sheet. Ideally if you have two 1/2 sheet cookie sheets, then you can alternate the baking process
